Acceptable use policy
The short list of things that get an account suspended.
MailHow is real mail infrastructure with a shared sending reputation. A single abuser hurts deliverability for everyone, so we enforce this policy strictly and, where necessary, immediately. By using MailHow you agree to it alongside our terms.
You may not
- Send spam, bulk unsolicited mail, or any message to recipients who have not asked to hear from you.
- Send phishing, fraud, malware, or links to any of the above.
- Forge headers, impersonate others, or send from addresses or domains you don’t control.
- Create accounts in bulk, or use MailHow inboxes to farm sign-ups, verifications, or trials on third-party services.
- Attempt to bypass sending limits, the free-tier send restriction, or any abuse control.
- Store or distribute illegal content, or use MailHow to harass or threaten anyone.
Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate any account we reasonably believe is violating this policy, without prior notice where the risk is immediate (active spam, phishing, or a deliverability threat). Where we can, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to respond. Suspended accounts keep read access to their existing mail during review unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent in your country (GDPR Art. 8), to create an account. MailHow is not directed at children.
Guarantee & chargebacks
Our 30-day money-back guarantee (see pricing) is void for any account suspended for abuse under this policy, or that initiates a payment chargeback rather than requesting a refund. Chargebacks on a suspended account will be contested with this policy as evidence.
Reporting abuse
Seeing abuse from a MailHow address? Email abuse@mailhow.com with the full message headers and we’ll act quickly.
